Pakistans emphatic win over India in the Tri series final in Bangladesh PCB chairman Nasim Ashraf has tipped his country to win the upcoming Asia Cup on the home soil as well. Pakistan will be hot favourites going into the Asia Cup after this win Ashraf said. Ashraf who was present at the Sher e Bangla stadium last night to witness the final said that he was happy with the teams performance in the high pressure match. I don`t have enough words to praise the teams performance against India and the secret of success in the match was the game plan to which the players stuck he said. Pakistan beat arch rivals India by 25 runs in the final to wipe off the bad memories of mauling at the league stage at the hands of the same opponents. Praising his team for executing the plans well Ashraf said if the current approach is maintained the win graph of the team would certainly shoot up. It was Salman Butt`s duty to stay at the crease till the last over and Younis duty to make a century and by the grace of god they delivered when it mattered the most. If we continue to play this way 90 percent of the time we will emerge victorious.
