Team India coach Gary Kistens mother passed away on Friday following a prolonged illness. The Vincent Pallotti Hospital where she was undergoing treatment for the last stage of lungs cancer confirmed the news and 64 year old Gayl Hall was admitted to the hospital couple of days ago. Kirsten had subsequently left Sri Lanka tour mid-way to be with her.
Garys mother was very close to her both sons and was waiting for Gary to return from Sri Lanka a source close to the family said.
