I have been watching New Zealand team for the last many years and love to see them in action. It is a very well disciplined team all the time consisiting of mostly young players. The one thing which is missing in this team is gfenuine fast bowler. The only fast bowler which i have seen was Shane Bond. I have seen this team reaching the semis of many great competitions but always failed to proof good enough for the final. The reason behind is the absence of fast bowler.

The current T20 world cup is being played by New Zealnd without Shane Bond. The inclusion of Shane Bond would be strong enough for New Zealand bowling attack as they desperately need it. They have a very good batting line which is always under pressure. Now i go back to past, they were in semis of 1992 world cup and were defeated at their own home land from Pakistan, despite posting a good total which the bowlers could not defend. Again they were defeated by Pakistan in england world cup 1999 semi final.

There are other examples too in which they lack the attack bowlers. The main role of attck bowler is not only to take wickets but also to put presuure on batsmen while from other end the seamers or spinners can take wickets. I think New Zealand think tank back to home should consider this factor to make their squad more competetive.
