ICC champions trophy schedule to start today with inaugural match between South Africa and Srilanka. This event is considered as biggest event of ICC after ODI world cup. The top 8 teams will take part in this event and are grouped in two pools. Pool A comprises of 4 teams including PAkistan, India, Australia and West Indies, while pool B consist of Newzealand, Srilanka, Bangladesh and South Africa. South Africa is a host of this event and considered as favourite too if they manage to control their nerves in semis and finals. Australia is the last time ICC champions trophy winner.
The other strong contestents are Australia, India, Srilanka and Pakistan. Some experts are ruling out India as favourite and putting Newzealnd in top four but the Indian players can bounce back at any time. The group A is considered as tough as compare to group B, where Australia, Pakistan and India are facing with each other along with West Indies which is considered as weak team. Among India Pakistan and Australia, the teams which will lose two matches against each other will be knock out, so pressure will be on players.
