Former Pakistan Captain, widely regarded greatest cricketer,  and superb all rounder all over the world, Imran khan, now have been regarded by MCC spirit of Cricket Cowdrey lecture. Imran has been invited by the organisers of MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club)  to deliver lecture about cricket. He will address at Lord’s on July 19 during the test match between Pakistan and Australia next year. Imran Khan will show his expertise and will delivered his speech about cricket phenomena. Imran is a first Pakistani who invited in this lecture,  previously Geoffrey Boycott, Dasmond Tutu and South African wicket keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist had delivered their addresses.

The president of MCC John Barcley, who played with Imran for Sussex English County, during 1970 to 1980, says ” Imran was an inspired cricketer. He was never short of opinions and rarely was he reluctant to hold back. We will be in for a treat on 19 July when Imran will display the depth of his knowledge and breadth of his experience “.

The Cowdrey Lecture was started in the memory of the late Colin Cowdrey, who together ex-England Captain Ted Dexter ( an another former MCC Presedent ), was instrumental in  having  a  section  on the ” Spirit of Cricket ” included as a preamble to the 2000 edition of the laws of the game.

Pakistan cricket team, if we think it gives us so many heroic images, names who serve for thier country in the way which become the pleasant memory of history of Pakistan cricket, Pakistan cricket history is full of these sort of names who rule the world of cricket, and if we goes for counting and writing thier names we need couple of days to do so.

Pakistan cricket team undergoes so many uncertain circumstances durig so many years specialy after the unforgateble victory and unpredictable performance  of Pakistan team with leader like great Imran Khan, to win the world cup of 1992.

Afetr that pleasant moments nation expect that they will win every title every tournament every trip but it can never be happen because this is the game and loss and win are the part of game, but audience do not understand, every player of the world in any team of game can never like to perform un likely due to  discrepancy  of the open eyes of media, so we should have to understand that our players like to play wants to winany title but as shown above loss and victory are the part of any game.

This is the way to apreciate  our national heros not like this, if they won the World Cup 1992, beats India so many times, win big titles, beats Aussies, Became the T20 world Champions and so many more battles in whish our players proves the name of our country from the bottom of their hearts but when any title or tournament they loss, from any medium of media ,from the nation they faces discrepancies, shame, etc etc.This is not the right way to react with that heroes who are represent our country our nation.

Pakistan ex captain Imran Khan said that Indian loby may played role in the last Pakistan semi final against New Zealand to kick out Pakistan from the competition. They have a strong influence in ICC said by Imran Khan. He also commented that there was no place for Younis Khan to keep him self in the team except leading the team. It was much better to include Asif in place of Omer Gul because Omer Gul seems to be out of form. On umpiring he said it was below per and may have a chance of Indian hand behind it. If such is the case thn it is under match fixing. He was interviewed by the local press in pakistan.

Pakistan cricket was lead by Imran Khan in bold style. He used his players very well which resulted in lot of victories including 1992 world cup during his regime. I was thinking of Younus Khan

can he lead the team like Imran Khan?.

I really have to think about that question, i can say yes and no too but if i base on technical things and logics then NO.

The reason behind this no is not one rather few……

1- Younus Khan is a batsman while Imran Khan was an allrounder. He looked at things in a different way. His main weapon was bowlers. During his time the batting always collapsed while he cover up with bowlers which really had quality, among them were Waseem Akram, Waqar Younus, Aaqib javed, Abdul Qadir and Tauseef Ahmed. Now Younus Khan is lacking of that quality bowlers although he have Omer Gul, Amir, Rao Rauf etc. But one cannot compare these to those. they were really great. At that time many times the bowlers were able to snatch a low score match many times. I dont think the current bowlers in the Paistan squad have such qualities like the bowlers in 1990’s.

2- Imran Khan was gifted with a great batsman miandad. Younus lack this. At that time in many occasions Javed Miandad was a person who took out Pakistan batting from deep shit but now non of the batsman posess such qualities even Younus himself does not touch the traces of Miandad quality.

3- Imran Khan was not emotional while Younaus Khan emotins are dominent on his personality which we saw in T20 world cup too and in past off field activities of Younus Khan prooved too.

Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan’s father Ikram Ullah Khan Niazi died after protracted illness here on Wednesday. The deceased was 88 years old and had been under treatment in the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital, where he breathed his last. His body was shifted to Imran Khan’s residence in Zaman Park at 7 pm on Wednesday.

The deceased is survived by a son and four daughters. The funeral prayer of the deceased will be held at Zaman Park at 9:30 am on Thursday (today). Afterwards, the body will be taken to Mianwali where he will be buried in his ancestral graveyard.

Talking to media at his residence, Imran Khan stated that his father, Ikram Ullah Khan, died of pneumonia.

Quran Khawani for the deceased will be held at Zaman Park on Saturday at 5:30 pm. The deceased, Ikram Ullah Khan, was born in Mianwali on April 24, 1922. He was the elder son of Dr Azeem Ahmed Khan.
