Tharanga made 67 runs with 3 fours and 4 sixes and then skipperSangakara batted fastest of the contest and pulled, smashed, drove precisely throughout the ground.

Besides all performances of  Sri Lanka’s brave players, specially Dilshan, who  played  with the genuine approach and positive intent for the fight of  victory, at the end of 50 overs Sri Lanka scored 411 runs for the loss of 8 wickets and defeated by just 3 runs. It was one of the high scoring matches in ODI’s.

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, born on 24 April 1973, International debut 1989 against Pakistan, simply we can say the world greatest batsman of all time.
