Sami recalled by Pakistan Skipper

Pakistan Cricket team has been arrived to Australia for exciting battle with the Kangaroo’s.  Pakistan team management recalls Muhammad Sami for this tour, for addition in  pace attack. Sami will play international Cricket after 2 years, Sami was dropped from Pakistan squad in Dec 2007 by the poor performance in test series in India and then banned from International Cricket for joining in an unofficial Indian Cricket League, Now  Sami shown excellent performance in this domestic season with 30 wickets, there are further two fast bowlers were available with better performances in Pakistan domestic cricket, namely Muhammad Talha and Sohail Khan, but Sami has an advantage of much more  International cricket experience as compare to them, specially Sami already played two tests in Australia. He express his arguments on this golden moments with the words, ” I am very happy and am confident of making the most of this chance to resurrect my career”.

Nervous, defensive day 5 ends due to rain

Napier test, the third and final match has been draw, due to rain, between Pakistan and New Zealand. Series now level on 1-1. At Napier,  Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first, but unfortunately did not sustained in front of O’Brien and Tuffy, all players have gone to the pavilion at the total of 223, From all Pakistan team only Imran Farhat battled the Kiwi’s bowlers and lift his own score at 117 and gave Pakistan a reasonable position. New Zealand in first inning played very well McIntosh made 74 runs to give superb start, then skipper Vettori made marvelous century with the help of 12 four and 1 six, accelerating this fashion McCullum and Tuffy shows tremendous strokes and made 89 and 80 runs respectively. The most importantly by Pakistan bowling, Danish Kaneria took 7 wickets for 168 runs.

Pakistan start second inning quit confidently, in first wicket partner ship Salman But and Imran Farhat lifts 128 runs and then Faisal Iqbal, Akmal brothers, skipper Muhammad Yousuf maintained this era and reached Pakistan total at 455. In reply of this New Zealanders so far played very well Watling already made his half century was playing on 60 and his partner McIntosh was on 23, at this stage it seems that Vettori’s dream of test series victory will come true but unfortunately rain falls and dreams remains dream, the match has been draw and series result is level by 1-1.

Contest at stumps between Pak and NZ

Short session have been performed due to rain at Napier test, between Pakistan and NewZealand, Pakistan is on 347 for the loss of four wickets at stumps., Imran Farhat, Salman Butt, Faisal Iqbal and Muhammad Yousuf played very well for boost Pakistan’s score to the safe mode with their finest betting performances, they scores 61, 66, 67 and 89 respectively. This is the third and last test between two teams, series so far is on level by 1-1. In this stage Pakistan have on wicket Umer Akmal with 48 runs and experience Misbahul haq with 4 runs.

From NewZealand side Guptill has claimed two important wickets of both openers, because at one stage it seems that Pakistan will sett above 200 runs in first wicket, but one by one both openers hunted by Guptill, O’Brien got 1 and also Martin took 1 wicket.

Pakistani skipper’s reply delayed by rain

Napier test, day 4 match stopped due to rain, at this stage Pakistan is in good position, not only to save but attack on Kiwi’s. Pakistan now 83 runs ahead with loss of three wickets. At the start Salman Butt and Imran Farhat played tremendously and added 128 runs in first wicket partnership, Salman made 66 and Farhat scored 61 runs, after both openers Faisal Iqbal played sensibly and played superb shots around the ground, at the score of 67 Martin claims his wicket. Skipper Muhammad Yousuf,  with his talented young fellow Umer Akmal continue the acceleration and played typical own strokes and lift the Pakistan total on 331 for the loss of 3 wickets, Yousuf is playing on 89 and Umer is on 36 runs, match delayed by the rain.

Thrilling 4th day of Napier Test

Third and final test match between Pak and NZ is on, at Napier, both teams playing with their intelligent and professional approach, they knows that, sudden death of any team also playing with them. In second inning after the huge total of Kiwis by excellent performance of skipper Daniel Vettori who made 134 runs, Pakistani openers gave dazzling start by 128 for no loss. Now at lunch Pakistan on 192/2. Imran Farhat caught and bowled by Guptill at 61 and just after his partner Salman Butt also hunted by the same fashion and caught and bowled by again Guptill at 66 runs. Skipper Muhammad Yousuf and Faisal Iqbal are on the wicket by the score 29 both.

Final battle between Pak and NZ

The third and final test match between Pakistan and New Zealand is now in very thrilling mode, series is on 1-1 so far, due to which both teams must have to win this test to lift the series. No test series victory performed since three years in Pakistan point of view as well as Kiwis never won test series in Napier.

Pakistan won the toss and selected to bat first, unfortunately openers can’t do the needful, loss their wickets early. O’Brien hunted four starting batsmen for 35 runs in first session, in the other session Tuffey strikes and claimed four wickets for 52 runs. From Pakistan batting line, only Imran Farhat sustained  and boost Pakistan by his crunchy unbeatable 117 runs, with 14 fours and 1six. Farhat lift Pakistan to a reasonable total of 223 runs.

In this contest, as a reply at stumps, New Zealand on 47 for no loss and trail by 176 runs.  McIntosh is playing on 31 and Watling on 13.

Sachin Tendulkar the giant of cricket records

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, born on 24 April 1973, International debut 1989 against Pakistan, simply we can say the world greatest batsman of all time.

At the time of Sachin debut, he was the youngest Indian test player by the age of 16. He holds the records of most runs in ODI and Test cricket and create the most accelerating cricket for India for all time. Here we can find the few International records, made by him.

The highest scorer in the test history of cricket i.e. over 12000 runs with the average of 50 plus. The first Indian to reach 11000 runs in the Indian Cricket history. The highest century maker of the world. At the time of his debut he was the third youngest cricketer in the world. Sachin is the first in the cricket world to make 5 centuries before the age of  20 years.

  ODI’s Cricket Records

 The highest scorer in the ODI history of cricket i.e. over 17000 runs with average of 44 plus. The first and fastest Indian to 10000-17000 runs. The highest half century maker i.e. 91. S.Bond, Martin, Vettori bowled out Pakistan

Kiwi’s bowlers seal the victory of first test against Pakistan at Dunedin. Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first, New Zealand scored 429 runs for first inning, by the smashing innings of Vettori, McCullum, Taylor and Guptill.  In reply, Pakistan reached 332 for all out, the key innings was the innings of Akmal brothers.

Pakistani pace bowlers seized New Zealand batsmen on just total of 153 runs, Asif took four wickets in first and then again four in second inning. At one stage it feels that Pakistan can easily win the test but New Zealand’s  bowlers bowled out, and took all Pakistan batsmen on 218 and won the first test by 32 runs.

Pak Vs NZ at stumps of third day at Dunedin

At the end of third day game, first test between Pakistan and Newzealand, Pakistan is on 307 for the loss of 8 wickets, the shining era of Pakistan betting is Kamran and Umer’s performance, specially Umer Akmal’s  debut century, he made 129 runs on 160 balls with 21 smashing fours and 2 glorious sixes. Kamran dismissed at 82 runs with 11 fours and 1six. By this counterattack of these two players, Pakistan now is in safe position.

From Kiwi’s,  Shane Bond took four wickets for 93 runs, Martin two and Vettori hunted two wickets also.

Counterattack of Akmal brothers

After the slow and uncertain start, Umer Akmal and Kamran Akmal lift Pakistan in better position, at the end of  69 overs, at tea,  Pakistan is 222/5,

At Dunedin test, Pakistan earlier lose 5 wickets alongwith skipper.  Akmal brothers are on the pitch and playing magnificently, Umer is on 78 runs with 1 six and 13 glorious fours alongwith his brother Kamran, who is on 73 runs with 1 six and 10 fours, they are playing with dazzling strokes and be the reason of stress for Vettori.
