Drop Scene of Pak Kiwis series

November 11th, 2009

After lossing the ODI series by New Zealand, Pakistan loss the captain also, these words are blowming in whole country today, as per expectation Younus gives his resignation  again to chairman PCB.

Now the board hiding  the news that Younus give it by himself or taken by the board because as per Younus performance,  he made just 22 runs against Kiwis, as captain, here one thing  is very important that younis says he was not satisfy with the senior players by cordination, by behaviour  but as far as our concern,  the politics between board,  players, seniour most players are become traditional issues which is killing the cricket from Pakistan day by day.

As the world knows,  Pakistan  win  T20 World Cup in the captain ship of Younis Khan in  June 2008 in the presence of all senior players who are playing today also, but there were no miscommunication between  the players we noted, then after losing any title or match why the board and players shows that there are somthing wrong like, issues, why they shows this image of Pakistan cricket in front of rest of world.

Pakistan loss the series by New Zealand due to shame full batting performance, presure,  as well as    ir-responsible  captaincy and,  we should have to improve the above mentioned weak points,  not to blam each other, our prays and well wishes will always with the players who perform for their country and bring the flag to the top most position.

South Africa is not a team of big games

June 17th, 2009

The record shows south Africa is not a team for big games. In the past South African team mange to qualify for semis and finals several time but they were unable to crocss the final step except mini world cup in Bangladesh in 1998. South Africa twice reached the semi finals of 50 overs world cup but failed to move into finals. In the last T20 world cup sA batting collapsed and succumb to defeat against India.

Mickey Arthus the coach of South african team aim at winning the world cup and he said its a different team under different management which is capable of playing under any pressure.  Mentally our team is strong and we are capable of winning this game. South Africa will play the semi final without Jaque kallis who is injured and will not be able to present himself in action.

There is no history of any big match like this between  pakistan and south Africa. It will be a game of nerves and skills. Definitely the team which play better will win this match and qualify for final.

Pakistan default against Srilanka

June 12th, 2009

The consistency in unpredictability is going on in Pakistan performance. Pakistan started its super round match of ICC twenty 20 world cup in an awkward way when Sohail Tanveed costly over put Srilanka at the top due to his poor bowling stuff. The same goes in batting when Pakistan opener Salman Butt and Kamran Akmal fell cheaply.

Warlier Srilanks started with flying colors and the openers Jayasuria gave an edge to Srilanka with brilliant start. The later batsmen of Srilanka were unable to maintain the pace and were contained for 153 after a display of excellent bowling by Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik and Saeed Ajmal.

The wicket was nice, ball was comming to bat and the weather was fair enough too but pakistan batsmen early batsmen did not take advantage from it and went back to pavillion cheaply. later Misbah and Younus Khan were able to build a partnership but the run rate crossed 10 runs per over.

After the departure of Misbah and Younus none of Pakistany batsman able to score big hit. So the easy winning match went out of hands of Pakistan.

Srilanka helped Australia to go back early

June 8th, 2009

Srilanka beat Australia to qualify for next round of Twenty20 world cup cricket. The nervous and under pressure Australian player were unable to perform a better cricket to stay in world cup contest. So Australia will join Andrew symmond back to home soon.

Australia batted first and hardly manage to put 159 on the board. The Srilankan bowling was tight enough for Australians to go for a big total. 159 is considered as low total in current Twenty20 situation where the boundries are short in some areas and wickets are too slow and perfect for batsmen to play easy strokes. None of the Australian batsman impressed with the bat.

Srilanka completed the target in 19 overs as they can do early too. Srilankan opener batsman Jayasuria fell cheaply but later Dilshan and Sangakara gave no chance to Australian a built a strong partnership which leads them to a victory and confirm booking for the next round.

Few Captains are not fit for Twenty20 game

June 3rd, 2009

There are few captains which does not seem to be fit for Twenty20 type of cricket game. The body language in the field is totally different and it looks they are playing like 50 over match. The strategies and plannings which experienced captains practice does not favour in such kind of quick game while the inexperienced one lack skills of leadership.

pakistan captain Younus Khan, Australian Captain Ricky Ponting are experienced as compare to others but i dont think they posess good leadership qualities for T20, as we had experience of watching the last T20 world cup in which he could hardly manage to play semi final and was out class by inexperieced Indians. It was due to the state of mind. Ricky ponting at that time was unable to adjust his mind to accept this game format. He failed to utilised his experienced players.

In the case of Younus Khan, he seem to be a conventional captain. If i am not mistaken i should put his captaincy like the captains do in 1980,s. I dont think some young players like Sohail Tanveer will manage to take his confidence and he is a key player of T20 format. Moreover he lacks quick decision making.

Sangakkara is a new captain but have experience of international cricket. Sangakkara totally does not fit to this job.  Srilankan board has given him a task which will put him under pressure and he will under perform, while good leader should show performance by himself  to boost the team morale.
